Our Story

Hey there! My name is Dani and I am the owner of The Kawartha Sign & Pillow Company, specializing in all things comfy and cozy. I love designing and making unique signs and pillows that have a little bit of cottage flare and a whole lot of rustic inspiration.

In 2017, I made The Kawartha Sign & Pillow Company official. I made the exciting decision to resign from my full-time marketing job, taking on the role of full-time maker and small business owner so I could be home with my kids.

Since then, a lot has changed. Our products are sold in home décor stores across Ontario, at craft shows, and online.

Our product line is constantly evolving as we continue to collaborate on custom requests with our retail partners and loyal customers. This keeps our look fresh, current and flexible. If you have an idea or a specific design in mind, let us know and we will do our best to accommodate your request. 

We pride ourselves on being based in the Kawarthas and sourcing as many of our materials as we can from the Kawartha area or from other suppliers in Ontario.

We are so happy to work with our local carpenters and seamstress partners who allow us to create the best quality products while encouraging economic growth in our community.
